Terms of service

Last updated October 21, 2026. CountdownGIF is provided by WAY LABS LLC (“we”, “us”).

By using CountdownGIF you agree to these terms.

The service

CountdownGIF makes countdown timer images for emails and web pages. It is free during the beta. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell account holders before anything is charged, and nothing is charged without your agreement.

Your account

Keep your password, edit links and API keys private: anyone who has them can change your timers. You are responsible for what happens under your account and your team.

Acceptable use

Do not use CountdownGIF to:

• send spam, or emails that break the law where they are sent or received;
• mislead people, for example with a fake deadline that hides a different offer;
• overload, probe or get around the limits of the service;
• link a timer to an image or page that is unlawful or harmful.

We may disable timers or accounts that do, without notice.

Your content

Your timers, text and images stay yours. You give us permission to store them and draw them into images for as long as you use the service.

No guarantee

We work to keep timers fast and accurate, but the service is provided “as is”, without warranties. Email clients sometimes cache or pre-load images, so a reader may occasionally see a countdown that is not current. To the extent the law allows, WAY LABS LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending

You can stop using CountdownGIF at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may change or end the service; if we end it, we will give account holders reasonable notice by email.

Changes to these terms

We update the date above when these terms change. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
